But if you want to remove unwanted application in order to free some space then you’re doing the wrong thing as, according to Apple “all the above 23 apps only take up about 150 MB all together.
NOTE:
- If you uninstall Contacts app then all of your saved contact information will remain in the Phone app.
- If you delete the FaceTime app then you can still make and receive FaceTime calls in Contacts and the Phone app.
- After un-installing the iBooks, Maps, Music, or Podcast apps, you can’t use them with CarPlay.
- If you have an apple watch and paired with Watch app, and you uninstall the watch app from iPhone then an alert will appear that asks you to unpair your Apple Watch first and after that try to remove the app.
In order to add a built-in app that you have uninstalled previously, apply the below given steps:
- Open the App Store and then search for that particular app. Tap on the icon with an arrow facing downward to reinstall the app
- Wait until the restore process finishes. And after it open the app from the home screen.
